This espresso machine was one of my “must-haves” on our wedding registry; even though my husband doesn’t even drink coffee! (He’s Turkish, so it makes this all the more wild). My typical routine for years included a daily Starbucks run. Some times even multiple runs a day. I slowly started realizing that the I was rushing to Starbucks more for the experience than for the actual quality of my latte. My simple white mocha order was not always a good quality latte. The espresso sometimes tasted burnt or the espresso to milk ratio was just off; and truthfully, when you’re paying almost $6 for a latte, IT BETTER TASTE LIKE MAGIC!

As soon as I received my Breville Barista Express, I could literally not wait to wake up, run to the kitchen, and make my latte. It is so easy to use and my coffee experience is forever changed. I enjoy making my own lattes at home and slowly my trips to Starbuck honestly diminished. Every latte I make at home is delicious and the same every single time. There’s no surprise element.

I have tried a few different beans and I am currently loving LA COLOMBE Corsica Dark Roast.

I cannot recommend this espresso machine enough. It has been the best gift I (we) have received. It is definitely worth every penny! No I just sit and wait until my husband starts drinking coffee!
