This past December I decided to learn about vision boards, manifesting, goal setting and intentions; and I must say, it’s a habit I will keep around for a while. I used to make vision boards of pretty pictures that I would use as inspo and then a few weeks into the new year that vision board was lost somewhere. I feel like the main reason I have never “vision boarded” successfully before is because there was not true intention behind the pretty pictures. I learned that there’s quite a few steps before picking out the pictures and that intention is what creates the magic in a vision board.
I’m going to share with you the steps I took to create this my February vision board. This is my second vision board of the year and I am looking forward to continuing this habit for the rest of the year.

WHAT WILL FEBRUARY LOOK LIKE?
PREP//SETTING: Block out about 2 hours for this session. Put your phone away, pour a glass of wine (or make a latte), turn on a candle, grab a notebook, pen, laptop and find a cozy spot to go through this exercise. Each and every step will be key to creating your intentional vision board.
Step One: Do a self assessment. Make a list of what you’re grateful for. Make a list of big (huge) dreams.
Step Two: Set some goals. Prioritize and be specific. Make a list of personal goals, career goals, health goals, etc. Make sure these goals are measurable. Start small, remember that little things make up the big things. Also, tie these goals back to your HUGE dreams from Step One.
Step Three: Start envisioning. How do you want to feel? Who do you want to be? Where do you see yourself? What does your life look like? Get detailed. Again, the little things matter.
Step Four: Find images + words. Go on Pinterest and find images that encompass all the journaling prompts you have just completed. Find images that spark certain emotions in you or images you relate to based on your goals and intentions. Find words that represent certain goals or a specific theme for your vision board. I chose words such as: gratitude, consistency, mindset, abundance. Choose meaningful words for what you’re manifesting.
Step Five: Place all your images together and start assembling them into an aesthetic compilation. Remember to keep important images larger and give your goals and intentions hierarchy through image size and placement on your board. I used Canva for creating my board. You can search for “vision board template” and you’ll find lots of options to customize. Or just start with a blank document and place all your images however you like. Canva has been the best tool for creating my vision boards (and a lot of my Sip Studio graphics for that matter). It’s so user friendly and I love how cohesive everything looks.
*P.S. you can also do this by printing out images or using magazine cutouts and gluing them on to a poster board.
MY FEBRUARY VISION BOARD

Step Six: Download your vision board and place it somewhere you’ll see it everyday. I added mine to my computer desktop and I look it at various times a day. Let this board become a constant reminder of your goals, intentions, and where you’re headed. And always remember, that the little things make up the big things. Get better and more consistent everyday and you will reach your goals and live the life you are manifesting.
I plan on creating a monthly board as I find it really therapeutic and motivating + also because I love the resulting graphics. Hopefully this has inspired you to create your own vision board and you’ll start manifesting all the magical things you wish for in your own life.
